Institutional Bank (WIB) was uses the Client Data Administration (CDA)
process to onboard customer and product details for International Operations.
This CDA process was predominantly manual and varies depending on originating
channel and geography and uniformity was not enforced. CDA processes were
labour-intensive and time consuming; involving the re-keying of data into
multiple product systems with inconsistencies potentially being introduced.
There was no accurate reporting on the processing of customer requests, or
visibility of request progress and status without manual investigation. Hard
copy documents can further be lost mislaid, introducing a further potential
for operational risk. To address this manual nature of handling
work and provide traceability and tracking, Financial Market Operations has
identified that a Business Process Management (BPM) solution to automate
their workflow which had address their some of existing issue with the CDA
process. In the phase 1, BPM had automated client and production creation
workflow. First phase of CDA have 2 complex processes
(BPD): Establish Customer and Establish Product. There are 40 coaches to support 2 complexes
BPD and 3 advance integration services to integrate with FileNet. Also Out of
box report is configured to meet business need. Also a custom search is
development using TW search API to meet business requirement. Contribution: . Architect the complete project. . Designed, developed and unit tested some
